Pastor R. Dave Jones is a native of New Orleans, LA. He now resides in Lithonia, Georgia. He is a graduate of the Beulah Heights Bible College, in Atlanta, GA where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Education. Currently, he is pursuing his Masters in Leadership Development at Luther Rice University in Lithonia, GA. Pastor Jones began his service to the Lord through the gift of singing, which he did for many years throughout the country. 

In 1982, he began to study God’s Word and started teaching Sunday School which he continued to do until 1986, when God called him into the five- fold ministry; after which he began to “ proclaim and teach” God’s Word. Unsure of all that God had in store for him, he faithfully assisted other Pastors with Evangelism, Outreach Ministries, New Members’ Classes, Bible Studies, Seminars and Conferences.

Pastor Jones is the Pastor of Beacon Light Christian Center. The teaching gift comes as a result of what God spoke into his spirit from Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge”. His joy and delight is to see people become born-again believers and mature by to the Word of God. 

As he continues to minister to the Body of Christ, his desire is for believers, leaders, and laymen to mature in their lifestyle, conversation and demonstration in the Holy Spirit. This includes their responsibility, accountability and service to the Lord and men.

Pastor Jones could not do all he does without the help of others; his family, Beatrice F. Jones, wife and partner in ministry, Serena S. Jones, favorite oldest daughter, Sonya S. Jones, favorite youngest daughter, grandchildren Nia Thompson (Isaac), Danielle,  and Dorian Dave Starks, Loretta A. Richardson (Nathan), his sister, and the faithful members of Beacon Light Christian Center. Even though, he is indebted to all these people, the Glory goes to God!

 Beatrice F. Jones is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. “Lady Bea” as she is affectionately known, leads a consistent and dedicated life to the Lord. Lady Bea believes in the importance of doing what God has assigned for each person to do. She is open to being used uniquely as God has purposed for her life, and she encourages others to find their special place in Him. 

She serves as an administrator to various churches, praise and worship leader, she provides leadership to ladies through Ladies of Excellence Ministry, and last but not least she is a prayer warrior/intercessor. As she continued to serve in the ministry, little did she know that God would be promoting her to another level.

 In 1996, she accepted the call of God to teach and proclaim His Word. She teaches the Word of God with a purpose and desire to mature, strengthen and encourage those who hear, in order that they will live their life pleasing to God. 

Nothing gives her greater joy than seeing the enemy defeated in the life of the believer and knowing that strongholds have been destroyed so that the Body of Christ can become all that God wants them to be!!! Sis. Bea’s ministry is incomplete without the support of her family, R. Dave Jones, her husband and partner in ministry, two daughters, Serena S. Jones and Sonya S. Jones,  Loretta A. Richardson (Nathan) her sister/brother-in-love, and three grandchildren, Nia Thompson (Isaac), Princess Danielle Palmer, Prince Dorian Dave Starks and Beacon Light Christian Center.

Yes, she is grateful of God's FAITHFULNESS!!!
